How should I care for my handmade accessories?
To help preserve the shape, fabric, zipper, and decorative details of your handmade set, we recommend gentle care.
Spot-clean small marks with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. When a deeper cleaning is needed, wash each piece gently by hand using cold water and a small amount of mild detergent.
Do not use bleach, soak, wring, or twist the items. Avoid placing them in the washing machine or dryer, as this may affect the quilting, structure, zipper, and metal hardware.
After washing, gently reshape the pouches and allow them to air-dry completely, preferably in a shaded and well-ventilated area.
Do not iron directly over the zipper, brand label, metal hardware, or decorative bow. If necessary, use a low-temperature iron on the fabric only and place a protective cloth between the iron and the item.
Keep the gold-tone hardware away from prolonged moisture, perfumes, lotions, and harsh cleaning products. Store the set in a clean, dry place when not in use.
Because every Ideal’s Shop piece is handmade, proper care will help maintain its beauty and functionality for longer.
